Queer Stability
Queer Stability is a bold initiative founded by Chris Brown of Chaleur Creative to build lasting infrastructure for LGBTQ+ liberation. Rooted in Washington State, Queer Stability works to create long-term economic and community stability by investing in queer individuals, businesses, and nonprofits. Through a dual-structure model (combining a nonprofit giving group and a for-profit mutual aid fund) Queer Stability redistributes wealth, supports local entrepreneurship, and fosters ownership of knowledge, property and assets that keep queer spaces safe, sustainable, and thriving.
More than a fund, Queer Stability is a movement for collective empowerment and generational wealth within the LGBTQ+ community. By hosting quarterly events where members directly meet and vote for recipients, it bridges philanthropy and participation, ensuring transparency, connection, and community-led impact. Together, we’re reclaiming power, property, and possibility for queer futures.
